Account verification

SMS Messaging Terms

Effective October 31, 2026

JeJex uses SMS only for transactional account verification and security. JeJex does not send SMS marketing messages under this program.

How a user opts in

Inside the JeJex application, a user voluntarily enters a telephone number during registration, login recovery, installation recovery, or a phone-number change. Immediately before requesting the message, the application presents this disclosure:

By selecting “Send code,” you agree to receive a one-time JeJex verification SMS at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See Terms and Privacy Policy.

The code is sent only after the user takes this affirmative action. JeJex does not use purchased lists or automatically enroll telephone numbers.

Message frequency and content

Message frequency varies based on user-initiated security actions. A typical message is: “JeJex verification code: 123456. Expires in 5 minutes. Do not share this code.”

Charges

JeJex does not charge for verification messages. Message and data rates imposed by the user’s mobile carrier may apply.

Opt out and help

Opting out may prevent registration, recovery, or another account-security action that requires telephone-number verification. A user may contact support for available alternatives.

Privacy

Telephone numbers are used for account security, code delivery, fraud prevention, and compliance. They are not sold. Details are available in the Privacy Policy.
